Conscious Capitalism – Elevating humanity through business.
Conscious Capitalism is a new business paradigm that encourages companies to embrace purpose beyond profit. Conscious Capitalism believes that every business has a higher purpose – a purpose that includes, but is more than, making a profit. By focusing on its Higher Purpose, a business inspires, engages and energizes its stakeholders. “Conscious Capitalism exists to elevate Humanity.”
Family businesses – whether they’re large international corporations or small/medium enterprises with a more localized impact – are noted for embracing the concepts espoused by Conscious Capitalism. Their mission and values focus on the company’s continuity over generations as well as its ongoing financial success; they are invested in their communities; they treat their employees like family; and they exhibit exceptional customer service that inspires great loyalty.
This event for Great Lakes Bay Region community leaders from family businesses, as well as from non-family businesses and not-for-profit organizations, will provide an introduction to Conscious Capitalism and its Four Principles of Purpose, Stakeholder, Leadership and Culture.
