The Presidents' Council 2018 Annual Meeting

Join The Presidents’ Council for our must-attend 2018 Annual Meeting, an evening focused on celebrating the accomplishments of the organization’s 22 years of removing barriers to inclusion by unlocking the collaborative power of business, government, and civil society.   This year's theme is Courageous Conversations: The Courage to Lead, featuring CNN legal analyst, advocate and author, Areva Martin. As an award-winning Harvard Law trained civil rights attorney, Areva has appeared on multiple Emmy-award winning television programs including Dr. Phil, Good Morning America and The Doctors.

 

It is important we work toward a more perfect union and to do so it demands Courageous Conversations and Leaders willing to serve, sacrifice, and suffer when necessary.  An accomplished, highly respected African-American business owner, Areva has been an unabashed advocate in shining light on the ills of the current political and economic climate and is the perfect voice to deliver this message and position other African-American business owners and entrepreneurs to utilize their platform and leadership role to showcase their expertise in the media to draw attention to their business, promote their brand and get their message out while having Courageous Conversations about social issues and advocating to eliminate disparities that negatively impact African-American businesses and the communities they serve.
