Responding to Evolving Donor Needs:  Assuming the Trusteeship of an Outside Trust

Program Description:
Three experienced planned giving professionals will discuss the duties, responsibilities, and best practices for a charity that is considering assuming the role of trusteeship for an outside planned gift.  The first portion will cover whether it would be appropriate for a planned giving office to take on this role and if so, what are the fiduciary duties of the planned giving office. The second portion will cover the process and practicalities that apply to taking on these responsibilities.

Advancing Your Charitable Gift Annuity Program:  Balancing Opportunity and Risk Through Sound Program Management

Program Description:
Charitable gift annuities continue to be a popular life income option for donors. With the recent increase in ACGA suggested payment rates, many charities see opportunities in marketing and expanding their CGA programs. Balancing these opportunities with the associated risks unique to CGAs requires sound program management. This session will explore both the current opportunities as well as strategies for managing the risks inherent in gift annuity pools.
