Leaders of mathematics are vital to schools. This network will allow participants to synthesize areas of best practice for math instruction. The goal of these sessions is to empower both teachers and students with curriculum that is rigorous and promotes equity. These meetings will include a book study*. Books will be provided to participants by CESA #1.One book per paid seat.
Elementary & Middle School network participants will read: The Impact of Identity in K-8 Mathematics: Rethinking Equity-Based Practices
High school network participants will read: Catalyzing Change in High School Mathematics
The network will help math leaders utilize tools and resources with teachers to:
Audience: Teacher Leaders of Mathematics, Coaches, Coordinators, Interventionists, Math Specialists
