Aerospace, automotive, healthcare and railway are just some of the sectors where the applications of 3D printing technology, also known as additive manufacturing, are growing considerably.
The rise of additive technologies is set to spark the next wave of manufacturing innovation. If Europe aims to be the leader in this new innovation round, it will need to succeed in the global race to industrialise technologies such as additive manufacturing. At what stage of development is additive manufacturing across Europe? What are the most pressing issues to address to strengthen Europe’s position as an international hub for additive expertise and advancements into the factory?
AMEC will bring together senior EU policy-makers and key players in the market to provide an insight into top additive manufacturing applications and to debate the EU’s role in placing Europe at the forefront of the technology’s developments.
