The 2nd annual AYA Symposium will provide education and awareness on oncofertility and sexuality for AYA cancer patients. This will include information on the reproductive system and the impacts from cancer treatment focusing on fertility status, preservation options, impact of fertility loss and grieving, sexual health and treatment. With this knowledge team members can improve patient awareness, assist patients in accessing services, prompt referrals for this population in an effort to increase patient satisfaction, quality of care and overall outcomes.
