What’s Happening In Our Neighborhood: Current Drug Trends In Nassau County 

This training event will award 2 contact hours for LMSW and LCSW with the NYSED State Board for Social Work and 2 contact hours for LMHC and LMFT with the State Board for Mental Health Practitioners and 2 CASAC renewal credits.
This workshop will provide participants with an overview of current drug trends and the effects they are having locally. Discussion will include an overview of statistics and prevalence, as well as further discussion related to early onset, warning signs and symptoms, as well as consequences for long term use. Resources, including evidence based practices, will be shared related to prevention and intervention. Participants will have the opportunity to exchange ideas and engage in dialogue to further explore this epidemic and how it effects every community.
