Join us for a breakfast workshop where we'll discuss the options you have if a long-term care need arises.

As your legal advocate, we want to provide you with additional knowledge that could be extremely helpful as you navigate life’s changes. There’s a lot to know and it can be confusing. For example:

  • If you or your loved one’s health fails, we want to tell about your options for care…and that a nursing home is NOT your only option.

  • If you have your assets in a trust (your home, for example), you most likely already know they may be protected from long-term care costs after five years, but we think it’s important for you to understand the ways to pay for care if a long term care crisis unfolds during the five years.

  • There are gifts you can make to become eligible for Medicaid – we want to help you understand how to do that.

  • If your loved one is admitted to the hospital, there is a difference between being admitted to the hospital and observation status and we’d like to explain this to you.
  • If a long-term care crisis unfolds, we want to share with you how to apply for Medicaid, and who you should and shouldn’t go to for help with an application.

  • Purchasing an annuity now so you have income later might be a wise move, we can let you know if it’s right for you and how it works.

You are important to us and we consider it our responsibility to provide you with these answers and more. We want to help you understand what’s next in your planning journey.
