Webinar on HSIP Cycle 9 Applications 

In preparation for the upcoming Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) Call for Projects (Cycle 9), Caltrans Division of Local Assistance will hold a webinar on May 16, 2018 to help local agencies in preparing their HSIP applications. 

What you will learn:

• Latest efforts on safety from a national perspective and from a statewide perspective, and how each agency can be part of the solution
• General information regarding the HSIP program
• Cycle 9 specific information, e.g. applicant eligibility, application categories, funding set-asides, newly developed tool "HSIP Analyzer", etc
• New application process. For the first time, the applications will be submitted electronically with no hard copies
• Project delivery requirements

Caltrans Division of Local Assistance will announce a new Call for Projects (Cycle 9) for HSIP in late April or early May, 2018. For those who cannot participate on May 16th, a recording of the webinar will be posted on the Local Assistance HSIP website soon after the webinar.
