DAVID LIPSON, CHAIRMAN & CEO of METROCORP –Philadelphia magazine, one of the oldest magazines of its kind, was first published as a quarterly in 1908 by the Trades League of Philadelphia until S. Arthur Lipson bought the paper in 1946. The Lipson’s invented the city magazine and continue to play a role in defining its future. The Philadelphia and Boston magazines connect readers with their cities, improving lives by highlighting what is great, exposing what is not, and constantly sparking conversation about these regions and our times. Special features include The Best of Philly awards, Top Doctors, and 50 Best Restaurants.
