Please Join us for NVPCA's Integrating Behavioral Health Services Training as we take a look at Integrated behavioral health models, the outcomes of integrated care and the implementation and logistics of integrating care in an FQHC.

Sara Hunt, Ph.D. Director of UNLV Mental and Behavioral Health Coalition; Assistant Dean of Behavioral Health Sciences

Sara Hunt joined The Lincy Institute in December 2014 as the Director of the UNLV Mental and Behavioral Health Coalition. She completed her Doctorate in Psychology at Utah State University, and received her BA in Psychology from the University of Iowa. Dr. Hunt completed her pre-doctoral internship in Toronto, Canada. Her research and clinical interests have focused on individuals with chronic health concerns.

Sandra L Abdullah, LCSW Clinical Director of Behavioral Health Nevada Health Centers, Inc.

Sandra Abdullah, LCSW, is the Clinical Director of Behavioral Health for Nevada Health Centers, Inc. (NVHC), a non-for-profit which holds the distinction of being the largest Federally Qualified Health Center in the State of Nevada. In 2015, Sandra developed and implemented the process for the integration of behavioral health into the NVHC primary care treatment environment which includes Family Practice, Women’s Health, Pediatrics, and Dentistry. Currently Sandra oversees the day-to-day operations of behavioral health services and serves as a behavioral health practitioner.
