Brilliant Minds Work On Weekends A Multi-Generational Educational Program

Multi-generational educational program.

Learn with your child, grandchild, niece, nephew. You and your 8-12 year old are invited to join us for this course that meets for four Saturdays. Choose the cycle start date most convenient for you. If you are unable to make one of the sessions, it can be picked up in the next cycle- each individual session consists of S-T-E-A-M and repeats itself in next cycle allowing one to pick up the missing session should this be necessary.

The child and her/his mentor will be learning about Lighthouses together and developing lifelong bonds using Lighthouses as a catalyst for creating lasting memories! As there are over 15,000 Lighthouses in the world, we are hoping a mutual interest will develop between a child and his/her mentor:

  • to see and climb lights together
  • to possibly inspire a maritime career in a child
  • to learn together through art to work together using STEAM...
  • to possibly take a Lighthouse boat tour over the summer to see lights up close
  • to enjoy Saturday mornings together for four weeks and achieve a sense of accomplishment together upon completion of the sessions with a Certificate of Completion
  • to develop a class book of classmates works to receive at the end to remember the experience

Each cycle consists of four Saturday sessions for an adult mentor and child. The cycle will be repeated on three other start dates. Choose the start date most convenient for you. We are now accepting registration for children 8-12 years old.
