Join us for a fun afternoon of creative baking using classic doughs and decorating techniques! In this hands on class, Pastry Chef Barbara Sarno, owner of Sweet Possibilities, will teach us to make an easy and versatile short dough to create and bake a number of show stopper gourmet desserts, tarts and cookies! We’ll learn about the different types of short dough - Pate Sucree, Pate Sable, Pate Brisee & Pate Foncer - and how to use them. We’ll also learn simple garnish techniques using these doughs! We’ll taste wines in class too.
