Signs of Safety Residency

This Signs of Safety Residency is targeted at deepening frontline workers’ use of the Signs of Safety while also equipping senior practitioners, supervisors and managers to take the lead in implementing the approach within their agency. Here are some of the topics you can look forward to digging in to:

  • Monday: Leading Practice, Depth in Signs of Safety Assessment, including leading practice/action learning
  • Tuesday: Mapping and Questioning, including the Signs of Safety Group Mapping Process
  • Wednesday: Safety Planning, including adaptations for non-child-protection case work
  • Thursday: Safety Planning, including a focus on risk management
  • Friday: Trajectory work, with a focus on denied cases, and your journey as a practice leader

We are excited to let you know that this year's Residency will incorporate a simple model that will connect the practice framework to the broader topic of organizational change. So whether you're a frontline practitioner or an agency director, you will come away with more vision for creating, deepening, and sustaining a practice framework that is fully supported by the organization surrounding it.

After September 7th, the registration fee will be $1475

Also included with your registration fee:

If you are joining us from outside the Twin Cities, we recommend that you make your hotel reservations soon. Oak Ridge Conference Center is a beautiful facility, and it is wonderfully convenient to stay at the conference hotel. Guest room availability is limited, so please book early.
