Hate Crimes Against Immigrants: A Discussion


The Diversity Committee of the Federal Bar Association-Minnesota Chapter, along with Lockridge Grindal Nauen P.L.L.P., the Minnesota State Bar Association, the Minnesota Association of Black Lawyers, the Somali American Bar Association, the American Constitution Society, Minneapolis-St. Paul Lawyer Chapter, the Minnesota Hispanic Bar Association, and the Minnesota Asian Pacific Bar Association are pleased to host the third in a series of four CLE events exploring the topic of hate crime.

This discussion will focus on the issue of hate crime against immigrants. It will feature an expert panel comprised of Mohamed Omar, executive director of the Dar Al-Farooq Islamic Center; several experts from Minnesota-based organizations; and Cynthia Deitle, a nationally renowned speaker and current director of programs and operations at the Matthew Shepard Foundation.
