The PrePose Method: Muscles For Yoga, Series 1
Orientation & Integrative Flow Class
Dr. Chloe and Carrie are offering both a one hour orientation and a 75 minute integrative flow for the PrePose Method: Muscles For Yoga, Series 1. The PrePose Method (PPM) is a system that helps you to bring mindfulness to your movement by teaching you what to focus on, why it's important, and how to correct it. It can be applied to any activity, and in this class, Carrie and Dr. Chloe will be applying the PPM to the muscles of the shoulder and pelvis. The orientation is mandatory for anyone who did not attend the Series 1 Muscle orientation yet.
Orientation; Series 1, Muscle Lengthening & Activation: Time:1-1:50pm.
The Goals:
- Teach you what the PrePose Method is and how to apply it to your practice.
- Teach you the muscle stretching and activation exercises and the PrePose exercises for the upper and lower body in order to improve your overall flexibility, strength, and stability.
- Answer all of your questions like “how does this fit into my regular yoga practice?” “how often do I practice this?” And more.
Integrative Flow Class; Series 1, Muscle Lengthening & Activation: Time:2-3:15pm.
What To Expect:
- Integrated flow: A way to instantly improve how you look and feel in the yoga poses that you will be flowing between in the class using what you learned in the orientation. You will begin with a pose, then move to the prepose exercises, and then transition back to the pose. After performing this sequence for the day's yoga poses, you will flow through them without interruption.
