2018 NACCTFO Annual Conference
Join us from July 10 - 12 in

Registration & Hotel Information

NACCTFO member registration - $150 and includes admission to all conference events and workshops. Guest registration - $200 and includes admission to all conference events (Tue. Welcome Reception, Wed. Business Luncheon & Evening Event, and Thu. Reception & Banquet).
Early registration deadline is Mon., June 11th. After that date, registration fees will increase by $25. Registration deadline is Sat., June 30th.

If your guest plans to attend all conference events, please register them while completing your registration. Single event tickets are available for Wednesday ($125) and Thursday ($100) evenings. If you would like to request a single event ticket, email Info@NACCTFO.org (seats are limited).

All NACCTFO education sessions are located at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center. The group rate for July 9 - 12 is $184/night; taxes and resort fee of $10/night are not included in this rate. Reservation deadline is Monday, June 11th to guarantee the group rate, based on availability.

NACo's Annual Conference will be held at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center and registration is now available. If you are planning to attend, don't forget to register separately at www.NACo.org. You will need to make a separate hotel reservation through NACo for that portion of the conference, but you will not have to change rooms.

Wednesday, July 11th
7:30 am - 8:15 am: Registration & Check-in
8:15 am - 11:00 am: Adaptive Leadership This interactive session will allow participants to learn some of the basics of adaptive leadership and immediately begin to apply them to the challenges they see in their own work and organizations. Adaptive leadership empowers organizations, communities, and individuals facing tough challenges to successfully do the deep cultural and systemic work needed to thrive. It works on diagnosing the deeper issues that stand in the way of organizations and communities facing their biggest challenges and helps them to find ways to move forward successfully.
11:00 am - 1:00 pm: Lunch On Your Own
1:00 pm - 3:30 pm:Tennessee Best Practices This session will explore the duties and best practices of trustees in Tennessee with a focus on internal controls and fraud prevention. A panel of NACCTFO members from Tennessee counties will give their perspectives and relate their experiences of how they have developed processes to ensure that public funds are protected.
5:30 pm - 6:00 pm Two buses depart for the Wildhorse Saloon
6:30 pm - 8:30 pm: Traditional Southern Dinner & Dancing at the Wildhorse Saloon, Sponsored by Thomson Reuters
9:00 pm - One bus will make multiple trips back to the hotel

Thursday, July 12th
7:30 am - 8:15 am Registration & Check-in

8:15 am - 11:00 am: Innovation in the Future The Internet of Things (IoT), Smart Cities, 5G…what are these technologies and trends and how are they reshaping local and regional government? This session explores how burgeoning technologies are helping us adapt our processes, planning, and interactions so that we can meet the needs of our community today and into the future.
11:00 am - 1:30 pm: NACCTFO Business Meeting Luncheon, Sponsored by Multi-Bank Securities
1:30 pm - 4:00 pm: Disaster Preparedness County collectors, treasurers, and finance officers need to plan for the worst when it comes to disasters, as their functions are absolutely crucial to the recovery of their counties. This session will explore strategies that can be used to prepare for these situations.
6:00 pm - 7:00 pm: President's Reception, Sponsored by FIS
7:00 pm - 9:30 pm: Banquet & Installation of Officers, Sponsored by Iowa State county Treasurers Association

The final agenda will be emailed to all registrants.

Cancellation Policy
Refund of conference registration fee, less an administrative fee of $25, will be made if a written notice of cancellation is received no later than June 30, 2018. Cancellation requests should be sent to Info@NACCTFO.org.  No refund requests will be honored for registrations cancelled after June 30, 2018 or for “no-shows.”
You are responsible for cancelling your hotel reservation.
