Nashuva's Shabbat Havdalah Service, Shavuot Learning, Meditation & Meal and 14th Birthday Celebration

Please join us on Saturday evening, May 19th, 2018,
for a mystical Havdalah service and an inspiring, festive Shavuot learning, meditation and meal
a magical night of wisdom, transformation, light and music with Rabbi Naomi Levy and the Nashuva Band!

Sometimes the stars align in such a way that pure magic emerges!

Imagine this:  It will be Saturday night under the stars and it will also be the Eve of Shavuot, the sacred night when our people received the Torah at Mount Sinai!

Enjoy learning with best-selling author, our very own Rabbi Levy, as she teaches us a mystical Shavuot text study that will cause our souls to soar to great heights until we are ready for a meditation of mystical ascension.

It will be a night of blintzes and cheesecake because Torah is Mother's Milk to our souls and we will gather for Havdalah by candlelight with the Nashuva Band lifting us higher and higher.  (See the delicious menu below.)

Jewish mystics say we are each granted an extra soul on Friday evening when we light Shabbat candles.  That soul gives us an extra measure of sanctity, vitality and uplift. When Shabbat comes to a close that extra soul (the Neshama Yetera) takes her leave as well.  Havdalah is the ceremony that sanctifies Shabbat’s departure.  It offers us a way to make Shabbat last.  Our hope is that the sanctity and light of Shabbat will spill over onto our weekdays until all our days are filled with light, inspiration and peace.

On this Shavuot, Nashuva will turn fourteen! The mystical significance of the number 14 is connected to strength, to feeling the very hand of God lifting us up and infusing us with new energy and power. Come experience the beauty of Nashuva Havdalah on May 19 and you will emerge with a renewed sense of purpose and mission.

In the fourteen years since Nashuva was created, we have helped thousands connect with a Jewish experience that is spiritually meaningful and full of light.  If you love the music and spiritual energy of welcoming Shabbat with Nashuva on Friday night, you will not want to miss Nashuva's celebration as Shabbat ends.  It is a soulful experience like no other, bidding farewell to the Sabbath with spices, wine, a braided candle and the unique melodies of Sabbath's end.  And this year, we will celebrate the Festival of Shavuot when the Jewish people reached Mount Sinai on their journey from slavery to freedom to receive the Torah.
