Learn More About The E-Commerce Website, Shopify 

Are you considering opening an e-commerce website?  

This interactive workshop will offer you an overview of e-commerce hosts and tips on what to consider when choosing one.  The focus will then be on Shopify and you will build an online store using their free 14-day trial, so there is no need to commit until you have had some time to look at your options.  Topics covered include: 

• Tour of Shopify features such as creating and choosing templates, adding products and collections, Blog, linking to a Facebook store and a point of sale system 
  
  
• Suggestions for the app store: Kit, cart recovery, mail chimp, etc. 

• Share tips and tricks on what to put on your pages, and why include them

• Analytics and SEOs

Please bring a laptop or tablet to use.  You do not need to have purchased your domain website before working on your Shopify store.  Although images of your products/services are not necessary, they will help with building your site and are recommended.   Please let us know if you need the use of a laptop and one can be provided.
