This is session four of a six-session Digital Marketing Master Class.

6 sessions, 4.5 hours each
11am to 4pm, with a 30-minute lunch break

Classes may be taken singly or as a sequence of six classes.

Search Engine Optimization

If you have a great website, but your prospects still have trouble finding you on the web, then you might need to improve your “findability”. Improving your search engine optimization (SEO) can make your website easier to find and can be the single most important factor in increasing the number of customers and potential customers who find you.

In Session 4, you’ll learn about keywords, content creation and building your website for “findability”.  You’ll see how search engines work behind the scenes, and which elements help you achieve organic search visibility and help you rank higher in mobile searches.

At the end of this workshop, you will have the knowledge and resources to:

  • Determine when SEO is worth the investment and when it isn’t
  • Describe how to conduct keyword research and analysis
  • Identify potential technical issues and what they can mean
  • Summarize key webmaster tools
  • Discuss tips and techniques to help your website rank higher in searches
  • Demonstrate the importance of link-building and techniques to acquire high-quality links
  • Outline the ad tracking process that enables you to track ad performance
