English Learner Network
2018-2019

The English Learner (EL) Network provides teachers, coordinators, and other staff members working with English learners an opportunity to share ideas and concerns, and to develop new approaches and solutions for working with ELs. Each meeting will have a specific professional development focus, as well as having participants contribute current information, challenges and solutions to group discussions. Instructional strategies, resources, and updates from DPI and WIDA will be shared.

Network meetings will include a book study* on Promoting Academic Success with English Learners: Best Practice for RtI by Albers and Martinez.
*Text will be provided to participants by CESA #1 - one book per paid seat.

 Meetings are held on Thursdays from 3:30pm-6:00pm at CESA #1.
