ORA 2018 Fall Conference Event

The Ohio Rehabilitation Association (ORA) invites your participation in the 2018 Annual Training Conference, to be held at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Dublin, Ohio on Thursday and Friday, November 8 and 9, 2018. The theme of this year is "Emerging Issues with Disabilities."

WE HAVE BEEN APPROVED FOR LSW/LISW, LPC/LPCC, CRC, CDMS, AND DD (ADULT SERVICES) WITH 6 HOURS IN ETHICS FOR CRC, CDMS, AND LSW/LISW AND LPC/LPCC

As rehab professionals here in Ohio, our profession as well as our clients/consumers are facing issues affecting our future.  ORA is offering 20 presentations covering the two day conference which will provide those information to assist them with those issues.

On September 13, 2018 we received our letter of approval for 12 hours of continuing education clock hours for LSW/LISW, Registered Social Worker Assistants, and LPC/LPCC! 

We already had received approval from CRC, CDMS, and DD (Adult Services)!

As of September 14, 2018 we are still confirming with our presenters the actual schedule of presentations.  Once we have that in place, we will publish that schedule here on this webpage.  Our topics include:

We are excited to have the opportunity to recognize individual(s) and/or organization(s) who will be the recipient of an ORA Award at this year's conference event.  This year we will be honoring those nominated during our luncheon on Friday, November 9, 2018.

CALL FOR RAFFLE BASKETS!  LET YOUR IMAGINATION GO WILD!

We are excited to once again host our basket raffle.  We have had some fantastic, fun, creative, outlandish, practical baskets over the year.  The proceeds from the basket raffle go to our Student Ambassador Fund and our Success Fund.  At this year's event you will have the opportunity to meet our Student Ambassadors who are able to participate because of the money raised via the basket rafle.   We look forward to seeing your basket!
