6-11 and 6-12-18 Increasing Student Achievement Through the Use of High Leverage Practices- No Fee Member Districts, $35 Fee forr Non Member Districts

Speaker: Dr. Amy Shearer Lingo

Target Audience: All school staff teaching students with an IEP

Description:  This two-day workshop will focus on the integration of High Leverage Practices into special education classrooms. The Council for Exceptional Children recently has identified specific High Leverage Practices that have been demonstrated to increase student academic and behavioral outcomes in the classroom. Implementing these practices in special education classrooms is key to increasing student achievement. Participants will engage in an interactive workshop on how to integrate these practices into their classrooms. Considerations for various disabilities will also be provided.

At CKSEC, we love kids and families! Unfortunately, due to liability issues and professional decorum, children and other family members or friends are not permitted to attend our trainings.

Please get permission from CKEC prior to video or audio recording a portion or all of a CKEC session. 

Please dress in layers as it can be difficult to adjust the temperature.

Attendance Policy:

If you register to attend a session, but find you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration as early as possible. Space is limited and by canceling you will allow others to benefit from these highly qualified professional development opportunities. A fee could be assessed for no shows.

Districts will be notified of those who registered and did not attend or did not cancel prior to be session.
