The Care and Keeping of Your Perkins Brailler 

Did you know that 60-80% of “broken” classic Perkins Braillers can be "repaired" with a proper cleaning? Brailler maintenance is key when it comes to protecting the investment of a braille writer. Come learn about the 700 different parts of a classic Perkins Brailler, and how to properly care for and maintain them during this one day workshop!

On June 27, 2018, from 8am to 5pm, Carl Jacobson will be providing an overview of the parts and proper maintenence that can help you keep your braillers in working order, or at least determine if this brailler should be sent out to the pros for repair. A brailler cleaning kit and manual will be provided to each participant.
