This air travel rehearsal program is for families who have anxiety about flying with a person with autism. The family will have the opportunity to do a walk through from ticketing, to security, to boarding a plane. This will let the family practice the steps required for an airplane trip, therefore increasing comfort with the process.
We have created a social story to help prepare participants.
PLEASE NOTE: all participants aged 18 and over (travelers and volunteers) must bring a photo ID along with them, just like you would if you are going on an actual flight. Please include your middle name when you register. The name you register with MUST MATCH your photo ID.
