Mr. Griffin is a Sr., Procurement Specialist of The Ohio University Procurement Technical Assistance Center (OU PTAC). PTAC helps your business identify, compete for and succeed in accessing government contracts. PTAC’s primary responsibility is one-on-one counseling with businesses that want to sell their product or service to the government. This no-cost assistance is delivered to you via individually focused coaching, teaching and mentoring. The OU PTAC is dedicated to assisting Ohio businesses to successfully compete in federal, state and local government arenas.
• Joined the Ohio University Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) in June 2014, as a procurement specialist in for the Cincinnati Area and surrounding counties
• Certified Mentor for Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE), Columbus, Ohio Chapter 27
• Retired from the Defense Logistics Agency’s Defense Supply Center Columbus (DSCC) in January 2011, after 29 years of federal service in various leadership positions
Mr. Griffin is a United States Air Force veteran. He attained his degree in Architectural Technology from the Ohio College of Applied Science and studied architecture at the University of Cincinnati. Mr. Griffin attended the Defense Acquisition University (DAU), where he received his DAWIA III/IV certifications (Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act) for Performance Management and Supply Chain Management.
Mr. Griffin held various positions in the private sector before joining the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA): Factory Order Planner at Toledo Scale; Lab Technician at Procter & Gamble; Construction Coordinator Columbus & Southern Ohio Electric Power; Engineering Technician at General Electric Evendale.
