Virtue 2019 Vendor Registration 

Become a Vendor at Virtue 2019 and market your goods and services to hundreds of Christian women. We are looking for Christian-themed products and services, such as books, music, art, health and wellness, and business services. Merchants of clothing, jewelry, and accessories will not be able to vend, unless items have a Christian theme.

VENDOR TERMS OF ENGAGEMENT

Read Carefully

This application for Vendor Space properly signed is formal notice of space assignment only by Virtue in Christ and constitutes a contract for the right to use Vendor space. Application should be filed promptly and must be accompanied with payment in full for each Vendor space requested. Refunds shall not be made on contracts cancelled after January 15. Use of space and all demonstrations or other sale activity must be confined to the Vendor Booth. Virtue in Christ reserves the right to restrict materials contrary to Christian values, or other vending activities that may be objectionable, or detract from the general character of the Event.

1. Displays. No Vendor shall place a display in such a manner as to interfere with other Vendors. Vendor shall not assign, share, or sublet any of the space allotted without the written consent of Virtue in Christ. Vendor shall not vend goods other than those manufactured or sold by Vendor in the regular course of business.

2. Solicitation. No firm, organization, or individual not assigned booth space shall be permitted to solicit business within the Vendor Area.

Vending Terms and Operations

3. All Vendors are requested to donate up to five items for door prizes, to be offered as door prizes on Friday as a promotional tool for your Christian-themed merchandise or service. Donated items should be provided to Virtue in Christ by or before the start of the event, but not later than 3pm on Friday at the start of the networking reception.

4. Vendors that include audiovisual or other noise-making equipment must secure approval of operating methods in writing before the Vendor opens.

5. Electricity and phone line arrangements must be made through the Property at the expense of the Vendor.

6. Outside food items of any kind are strictly prohibited at the Property and Vendor must abide by all local government licensing and convention center guidelines.

7. Furnishings provided by the Property may NOT be moved at any time.

8. Additional furnishings such as easels, tables, or chairs must be requested at Vendor expense from the Property.

9. No canopies shall be allowed in the Vending area.

10. Smoking is NOT permitted on the Property.

11. Restrictions. Virtue in Christ reserves the right to restrict or remove Vendors including persons, things, conduct, printed or recorded materials, or anything of a character and nature that is objectionable, or it deems inappropriate for the Event. If such restrictions occur, Virtue in Christ shall not be obligated to refund any Vendor fees to the offending party.  Virtue in Christ also reserves the right to refuse the application of any Vendor it deems to be inappropriate for the Event.

 

Vending or sale of merchandise during workshop hours, worship, or scheduled Virtue in Christ programmed activities is strictly prohibited. The scheduled set-up and vending times follow:

Friday vendor set-up is 9am-3pm; Vending from 11am-10pm

Saturday vendor set-up is 6-8am; Vending from 7-10am, 12-4pm

Vendor departure by 4:30pm

 12. Storage. Vendor shall be permitted to store empty packing boxes under the table during the Vendor period. Reasonable space shall be provided for excess boxes or crates through the Property and may be stored at the Vendor’s expense.

Liability and Insurance

13. The Vendor assumes the entire responsibility for losses, damages, and claims arising from injury or damages to Vendor’s display, equipment, and other Property brought upon the premises of the Property.

14. Virtue in Christ shall not be responsible for any failures of electricity or service. Vendors wishing to insure their merchandise must do so at their own expense.

Installation and Dismantling

15. At all times, service and/or freight elevators are to be used for the transport of equipment and materials to the vending area. Use of passenger elevators for transporting equipment, materials, etc. is not permitted.

16. All materials used in the Vendor area must be flameproof and fire resistant in order to conform to local fire ordinances and in accordance with regulations established by the National Association of Fire Underwriters. Display racks, signs, spotlights, and special equipment must be approved by the Property before use, and all displays are subject to the inspection by the Fire Prevention Bureau. Any Vendor equipment found not to be fireproof may be ordered dismantled. All aisles must be kept clear at all times, and fire stations and fire extinguisher equipment are not to be covered or obstructed. Vendor and its employees, representatives, and agents hereby agree to abide by these policies.

17. All Vendors may set up beginning at 9am on Friday, March 8, 2019 and be ready to open to the public by 11am. There shall be NO sales conducted on Saturday, March 9, 2019 after 4pm. Vendor hereby agrees to comply with all applicable governmental statutes, rules, and regulations, and to comply with the terms and conditions of Virtue in Christ’s contract with the owner of the Property where the Virtue in Christ activities are being held.

Indemnity

18. Vendor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Virtue in Christ and its agents, assigns, or affiliates, of and from any and all claims, demands, losses, causes of action, damage, lawsuits, judgments, including attorneys' fees and costs, arising out of or relating to vending at the Event.

FEES

Standard Vendor Space: $75.00 per 6’ x 30” table with 2 chairs for March 8-9, 2019, and one participant of the vendor’s group will be registered for Virtue in Christ 2019 Event. Additional vendor registrants will be at a rate of $45 each. Virtue in Christ event registration is for girls and women only.

Prime Vendor Space: $125.00 per 6’ x 30” table with 2 chairs for March 8-9, 2019, and includes the following:

  • Dessert reception on Friday
  • Dedicated meeting space for targeted marketing of your product of service during the business networking event on Friday
  • Breakfast and lunch on Saturday

One participant of the vendor’s group will be registered for Virtue in Christ 2019 Event. Additional vendor registrants will be at a rate of $45 each. Virtue in Christ event registration is for girls and women only.
