3. Discuss dental contracting for health centers
Irene Hilton DDS, MPH is NNOHA’s Dental Consultant, working on developing health center dental program resources under NNOHA’s HRSA training and technical assistance funding. As part of her work at NNOHA, Dr. Hilton led the development of NNOHA’s resources on Contracting for Dental Services in Health Centers and for Integration of Oral Health and Primary Care Practice (IOHPCP). She received her DDS degree from UCSF, her MPH at UC Berkeley, completed a dental public health residency at UCSF and is board certified in dental public health.
Candace Owen, RDH, MS, MPH
Candace Owen is the Education Director for the National Network for Oral Health Access. She is also a registered dental hygienist. Candace has faculty experience in underserved populations and integration of oral health and primary care practice. With NNOHA, Candace provides training and technical assistance to health centers for integration projects, quality improvement, and the HRSA UDS Sealant Measure.
