Teacher Registration
Join us at the Alabama Department of Archives and History for a two-day symposium exploring how the Great War changed daily life for Alabamians both during and after the conflict. Expert speakers from across the nation will explore topics including military participation at home & abroad, African American servicemen, war kitchens, post-war social change in Alabama, memorials, & more.
TEACHERS (Grades 4-12): Receive 16 hours (8 hours per day) of professional development credit through STIPD under UABRIC01200 and a variety of classroom resources. The first 30 teachers to register will receive reduced admission courtesy of the Alabama Bicentennial Commission.
