Led by the Metropolitan Area Planning Council and the 495/MetroWest Partnership, with support from Transportation for Massachusetts, the Commuter Rail Communities Coalition seeks to identify municipal-level concerns and ideas on commuter rail issues and opportunities.
This kick-off meeting will include a discussion about how we can create a coalition of commuter rail communities and develop a unified voice on the commuter rail. During the second half of the meeting, MassDOT and the MBTA will join us to describe the Rail Vision study, a two-year re-visioning of the commuter rail system, and answer your questions about the goals and timeline of that project.
