Alumni Golf Outing
Friday, October 5th
Tee Times Starting at 10:30 a.m.
Location: Bucknell University Golf Club, 366 Smoketown Road
Cost: BU Golf Club members $35/player and non-members $65/player

Join Lewisburg Area High School Alumni for a fun round of golf at Bucknell Golf Club!  There will be tee times starting at 10:30 am. We'll have some fun twists to a traditional scramble with fun prizes awarded! Cost includes green fees, cart and beverages.  Alumni and friends are invited. "Fire Breathing Dragon Tailgate Pit"
Friday, October 5th, 5-7 p.m.
Location: Bucknell University's Christy Mathewson Stadium, lower lawn area (outside the stadium)
Cost: $7 per person

Nothing says It's Alumni Weekend! better than bonding with old friends at the Fire Breathing Dragon Tailgate party. We heartily encourage you to meet us in the lower lawn adjacent to Bucknell Stadium. See old classmates, enjoy great food, listen to the band, and get ready for the kickoff as LAHS takes on Shikellamy Area High School. It's the perfect combination of football, food and fun! Game time is 7 p.m.

Friday, October 5th, 7 p.m.
Location: Bucknell University's Christy Mathewson Stadium
Cost: $5 per person

Come cheer on the Green Dragons as they take on Shikellamy for this year's homecoming game.

The Fabulous Spastics Band Party...Post-Game Gathering
Friday, October 5th, approximately 9 p.m.
Location: Bull Run Tap House, 17 South 6th Street
Cost: $6 per person (cash bar is available)
Pre-regisration is highly recommended and is limited to the first 150 people.

Friday's Alumni Weekend activities would not be complete without one final stop at the Bull Run Tap House to enjoy The Fabulous Spastics! We are honored and thrilled that, again this year, The Spastics will be playing that classic rock and roll that we remember so fondly from our high school years! Original Spastic band members Jim Wetzel ’58 and George Diefenbach ’58, will be joined by other veteran rock 'n rollers…and perhaps a millennial drummer! The original band members are now in their seventies – technically senior citizens – but these upper classmen rock! They, like the songs that they sing, have stood the test of time! We are lucky to have this group representing Lewisburg Alumni. Be prepared to find yourself smiling and laughing with alumni friends as the music brings back wonderful memories! Please join us immediately after the game in the back dining room, reserved for our group. We will serve hors d’oeuvres and provide for a cash bar.

Class members from the 50's, 60's, and 70's will have a great time!

“Post-Game Celebration at Towne Tavern’s Shanty”
Friday, October 5th, approximately 9 p.m.
Location: Towne Tavern's Shanty, 600 Market Street
Cost: $3 (cash bar is available)
Pre-regisration is highly recommended.

Come join your friends at a post-game celebration at Towne Tavern’s Shanty. Appetizers will be provided along with a cash bar. Class members from the 80’s, 90’s, and the 00’s will feel right at home! There will be music from the 80's, so pre-register and come on down!

Tour of the Lewisburg Area High School
A light reception of coffee, punch and cookies will be available.
Saturday, October 6th, 10 a.m.
Location: Lewisburg Area High School, 545 Newman Road
Cost: Free

If you haven’t had an opportunity to do so yet, come see the exciting new high school! Meet members of the high school administration in the lobby for a brief introduction before you begin your stroll down memory lane. Features will include the Heritage Room (the first of its kind in the state!), auditorium, the gym and associated physical education facilities, science wing, music and art rooms, and sample classrooms. After the tour, linger in the cafeteria to reminisce with fellow alumni and visit our Heritage Room to see the wonderfully displayed high school memorabilia. Remember there are steps, so wear comfy shoes.  See our greeter at the registration tent for assistance in finding the entrance and starting point of the tour.

LAHS Varsity Boys Soccer Game vs Selinsgrove Area High School
Saturday, October 6th, 11 a.m.
Location: Lewisburg Area High School Turf Field
Cost: $5 per person

Come cheer on the Green Dragons as they take on Selinsgrove.

History of Lewisburg Walking Tour led by Barbara Spaventa
Saturday, October 6th, 1 p.m.
Location: Soldier’s Park on Water Street in downtown Lewisburg
Cost: Free

Join us as we gather at Soldier’s Park on Water Street, near the bridge, for a walking tour of Lewisburg. This event will last approximately 1 ½ hours, so please dress accordingly. Our tour of Lewisburg will proceed down Water Street to Front Street and feature topics include the river, canal system, Lewisburg history, Union County, Ludwig Derr, Underground Railroad, Bucknell University and the Federal Penitentiary. The tour will finish up with a look at the Federal building at the Cook residence at 201 Market Street, the Cameron House. This event is limited to the first 25 registrants.

Wine-Tasting at Fero Vineyards
Saturday, October 6th, 2-4 p.m.
Location: Fero Vineyards, 965 JPM Road, Lewisburg
Cost: Free when showing your Alumni Weekend Badge

Come join us at the vineyard! Enjoy delicious wine tasting at Fero Vineyards. LAHS alum, Daneen Fero Zaleski ’85, and husband Chuck are growing and producing fine wines from the hills surrounding her family’s home in Kelly Township in Lewisburg. Some of the tastings will include a variety of wines such as Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Pinot Noir, Lemberger and Pinot Gris. Come join us at the vineyard for this exciting wine experience along with an exciting special JUST for LAHS Alumni!

Lewisburg Alumni Cocktail Reception at Country Cupboard’s Colonel John Kelly Room
Beer, wine, punch, and hors d'oeuvers will be served.

Cost: Free

Take a relaxing walk down memory lane, with friends old and new, while checking out all the Lewisburg memorabilia on display. Highlighting this event is the honoring of the 2018 Distinguished Alumni. This activity has been generously sponsored by Lewisburg alums so there’s no cost to attend, but pre-registration is required and is limited to the first 300 people.    ______________________________________________________________________________________________________

Farewell Breakfast Buffet at Country Cupboard’s Slifer Room
Sunday, Oct 7th, 9 to 10:30 a.m.
Location: Country Cupboard, Route 15N, Lewisburg
Cost: The cost is what your appetite and wallet permit plus a 15% gratuity!

This is the final event for Alumni Weekend! Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and say your "goodbyes" until Alumni Weekend 2019.

In 2011, our very own rails-to-trails path was opened for the enjoyment of walkers, runners and bikers. Take a leisurely stroll, a brisk jog or rent a bike at Big Earl’s Bicycle Shop located off of 427 Fairground Road in Lewisburg (500 ft. North of Route 45).
