7-20-18 Increasing Literacy Access for ALL Students.  Developing Instructional Materials Around an Adapted Book for Students on Alternate Assessment- No Fee for Member Districts, $35 Fee for Non Member Districts

Target Audience: Any school staff working with students who qualify for Alternate Assessment

Description:  

This session is a continuance of Adapting Books on July 19.  Participants attending July 20 MUST have attended July 19. 

 

This follow-up session to the book adapting on July 19 will allow participants to learn how to develop instructional materials around an adapted book.  Participants will be given time to work with others to develop additional curriculum resources for the adapted version of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl.  Participants need to bring a computer to work on. 

  SLP CEU’s and EILA will be applied for.

At CKSEC, we love kids and families! Unfortunately, due to liability issues and professional decorum, children and other family members or friends are not permitted to attend our trainings.

Please get permission from CKEC prior to video or audio recording a portion or all of a CKEC session. 

Please dress in layers as it can be difficult to adjust the temperature.

Attendance Policy:

If you register to attend a session, but find you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration as early as possible. Space is limited and by canceling you will allow others to benefit from these highly qualified professional development opportunities. A fee could be assessed for no shows.

Districts will be notified of those who registered and did not attend or did not cancel prior to be session.
