Using Data to Move Forward
As a state assessment in ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies, the Forward Exam is designed to gauge how well students are doing in relation to the Wisconsin Academic Standards.
Through this workshop, teams will be guided through an exploration of the 2018 FORWARD results and learn strategies and tools for effective data analysis. We will dig into your data to analyze current attainment and trends that will drive future data work in preparation for back-to-school in-service activities.
Participants will learn how to:- Access and examine Forward data reports in eDirect and WISEdash
- Conduct a data audit to identify other local data sources that will clarify findings from FORWARD to develop your school data story
- Practice data analysis strategies that can be easily replicated in your school data teams or PLCs
Audience: Administrators and instructional leaders; district or school data teams
