Wendy Larson is a Registered Dietitian, Entrepreneur and retired military officer.  As her military career progressed, she quickly found her niche in leadership and organizational management roles.  Her career path was non-traditional for a dietitian but acquired a breadth of experiences in both small and large organizations.  She has served as a Protocol Officer, directed several offices, managed nutrition programs in a Health and Wellness Center and has served as a Squadron Commander.

Wendy was born and raised in a small farming community in Standish, Michigan.  Her parents instilled a strong sense of family and faith for her and her siblings.   She often comments how similar these are to the AF core values: Integrity First, Service Before Self, Excellence in All You Do.  The lessons learned in childhood set a strong foundation to flourish as a leader in the professional world.

Wendy’s leadership style is very pragmatic, intuitive and personal.  There are literally thousands of books on leadership, providing valuable insight for professional growth.  At the very foundation, Wendy will share, are very basic principles she learned from her parents.   Be genuine in your interactions, treat others how you’d want to be treated - and remember attitude is 90% of life.

Currently Wendy the owner of TapSnap 1178, a premier photo entertainment service for special events and a unique marketing tool for corporations.  She is also pursuing professional certification in Functional Medicine with the ultimate goal of transitioning into private practice to help others achieve their full potential, focusing on health and nutrition needs.

She lives with her husband of 28 years, Rocky, in Dayton.  Together they have three sons.
