May 29 Career Readiness and Work-Based Learning: Experiences in Seven States

In partnership with the National Association of State Boards of Education, the Washington State Board of Education is hosting a pair of online forums in which leaders from seven states will share innovative approaches to preparing students for life after high school. To register for the webinar on May 29, click below.

Panelists will describe work-based learning opportunities in their states, including youth apprenticeships, internships, and career and technical education programs. They will also address coordination across multiple agencies, best practices for engaging employers, and alignment of work-based learning with graduation requirements and postsecondary pathways.

Registrants  will be able to see and hear the presentations, submit written questions to panelists, and access informational documents provided by panelists.
