Join us at the 9th Annual Cleveland African Dance & Drum Festival Weekend 
held at both St. Ignatius High School and the Breen Performing Arts Center.

This year's event will focus on new beginnings in our lives.  Djapo's theme, "Soga Door" will undoubtedly enhance the lives of family, self, and community interlacing a theatrical infusion of dance, poetry, drumming and song from June 16th to June 17th.

Saturday night features our Juneteenth concert performance choreographed and produced by noted artist, choreographer and dancer, Talise Campbell with musical direction by world renowned musician, Weedie Braimah.  Cleveland's own Djapo Cultural Arts will join master teachers and area performers for a moving tribute in celebration of our continuing legacy, conceivable through the light that we are, we give and that we share.
