Are you a fan of the CSI TV shows? Ever wonder how cases are really won, and how crime-based evidence is collected and processed to support cases? Join IFMA and San Diego County’s Capital Project Manager Suzanne Evans as we tour this 5 level, 150,000 SF state of the art facility. You’ll have an opportunity to see up close and personal the Crime Lab, Major Crimes investigations interview area and the holding cells, Evidence Storage, and onsite Shooting Range. This LEED Gold facility features advanced tools and techniques within a secure environment big enough to house three professional football fields!
Our Tour Guide: Suzanne Evans is a Project Manager for the Capital Division of the Department of General Services at the County of San Diego. She is a licensed architect and has spent over 20 years designing and building government facilities. She joined the County in 2010 were she worked on the conceptual plan for the Alpine and Imperial Beach Libraries. Suzanne was the project manager for the County of San Diego Waterfront Park located downtown at the County Administration Center that took over eight acres of asphalt parking lot and turned it into a beautiful community park. She is now managing the Crime Lab project, Sherriff Technology and Information Center and Southeastern Live Well Center project for the County.

- Parking: Visitor parking in lot or in parking structure
- Required Attire: Hard sole shoes are required. NO HEELS OR OPEN TOES. Tennis shoes are not acceptable. If you have Personal Protective Equipment (PPE – Hard Hats and Vests), please bring your own.

Non Member Fee: Membership, in IFMA and the San Diego Chapter, is on an individual basis (not by company). Therefore, to be considered a member and not charged to attend meeting/events, you (individually) have to be listed in the chapter membership records. These records are provided to us by IFMA Headquarters. Any discrepancies or changes must be resolved with the Membership Department at IFMA. Please contact them at 713-623-4362 or ifma@ifma.org
Cancellations: Due to rising catering costs, cancellations MUST be received a minimum of 24 hours in advance of the event to receive a full refund. Those making a reservation, but not attending the event/meeting (“No shows”) will be charged a $15 No-Show fee.
