Domestic Violence 101

Domestic violence is a pattern of abusive and coercive behaviors that one person uses to exert power and control over another in a relationship. Participants will learn about the cycle of violence, barriers to leaving, and available community resources. This core training provides a strong foundation for advocates and community members on how to support victims and help end domestic violence. CEUs will be provided.
Judith Kinzel has worked as a victim advocate for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault for over 30 years. She regularly provides training to professionals and community groups, including medical providers and law enforcement.
