Establishing Coaching with a Client
This is part 2 of a 3 part Coaching Series aligned to the book, The Art of Coaching by Elena Aguilar. The book study will be hosted in Google classroom during the fall. Credit is available for an additional fee from Kent State for attending all 3 sessions and participating in the book study. In this session we will reflect on our action plan. Look at any obstacles, whats working, and what are some challenges. We will also explore building coaching relationships and trust. We will look at developing a work plan. Participants will practice coaching conversations in role playing scenarios. We will compare Facilatative versus Directive coaching conversations and activities. Chapters 5-10, Match Mini videos, building relationships and developing trust, develop a work plan, Coaching Conversations (Jim Knight Videos), and facilitating Coaching Activities.
