Blogging & Email Marketing for Your Small Business

Explore blogging and email techniques to enhance your web presence.

Who should attend?
Small business owners, practicing professionals, and start ups who want to learn how e-mail and blogging can be a tool for getting to the target audience.

Overview

Becoming more visible online is vital to your business success. One way this can happen is that when people search for a business on Google, you are at the top of the page. Blogging boosts your internet profile because Search Engine Optimization (SEO) on Google goes up due to your blog posts. That increases word of mouth about your business. In other words, more quality blog posts mean more effective social media posts and a higher chance you will be more visible online. This workshop can guide you in planning your Content Calendar with themes and titles that will help amplify your presence.

Another way to increase your presence is email marketing. More people check more email more frequently than any other social platform. In this interactive session, you will discover ways to make your email marketing more effective. These include the Blog Brainstormer, the Content Calendar and email newsletters do’s and don’ts. Throughout, you’ll get answers to your questions so you can enhance your marketing results.

At the end of this workshop, you will have the knowledge to:

  • Discuss how to start or improve  your Content Calendar
  • Describe how to use the Blog Brainstormner
  • Summarize the latest SEO updates announced by Google
  • List newsletter best practices, “ Dos and Don’ts”

Attendees qualify for a free trial of Constant Contact, Inner Circles, and/or a
30-minute 1-on-1 phone consultation on either software.
