The dropped stitch is often a dreaded mistake that shakes fear into the hearts of knitters! This time we will learn how to use the dropped stitch to our advantage. The controlled dropped stitch creates a stunning, airy fabric that showcases the lightness of whatever yarn you select to use in this project.
Choose a yarn that drapes well or is a summer-y fiber like linen, cotton or bamboo for the best and most visible results. You will have the option to make either the smaller scarf that measures 7"x62" or the larger scarf 9"x76". We will also discuss how to adapt this pattern to suit the exact size you'd like to make.
