Laying the Groundwork: Introduction to Government Contracting 

This seminar is designed to provide general information to small businesses who are trying to determine if they are ready to pursue government contracts.

To successfully compete in the government marketplace you first need to understand how and where you fit in. This fun, lively class will take you through the WHO, WHAT, WHY, WHERE AND WHEN of all levels of government contracting. You will also have the opportunity to ask questions and determine if you are ready to pursue government contracts. This is a free workshop hosted by Eastern Arizona College SBDC.

Speaker: Lori Haozous is the Assistant Program Manager with the Arizona PTAC. Over the past 12 years she has advised small businesses on various certification programs, procurement training, and teaming opportunities. Ms. Haozous has spoken at various conferences such as the San Carlos Business Training and the annual Native American Development Conference. Prior to AZPTAC, for 7 years she worked at Native PTACs assisting native businesses and tribal enterprises
