Buddhist Churches of America

Center for Buddhist Education

Are our temples and churches and affiliated youth programs welcoming to LGBTQ youth? How can we be mindful of LGBTQ youth concerns in all our activities?
How do we help create compassionate, nurturing, inclusive communities for all?

The BCA Center for Education is excited about our upcoming educational event inviting youth program leaders (including parents. instructors, advisors, etc.)  from BCA temples, affiliates and the broader community, to learn how we can be more mindful of the needs of  LGBTQ youth and families

Ways to Support this Workshop

We invite you to help us as a Supporting Organization and/or Sponsor (Donor): In addition to attendance, there are two other ways to support this educational effort:

1) Become a Supporting Organization:
Add your name to the Buddhist Church of San Francisco's, our first Supporting Organization, to build broad community support for this event. We are hoping for an array of organization names to put on the workshop program, helping to demonstrate a caring community.

2) Become an Sponsor: CBE has kept the registration fee for this as low as possible to encourage participation. Additional donations will help to defray event costs. Amounts of $100, $50, or any amount are all welcome and appreciated.
