SURFERS' POINT DUNE MAINTENANCE

Volunteer Ventura! and the Surfrider Foundation are seeking volunteers to help remove invasive weeds as part of the ongoing maintenance of the Surfers' Point Managed Retreat Project.

Volunteers' duties will include removing weeds from the dunes and the bioswales. 

Please wear long pants, closed-toe shoes, and sunscreen/hat. Volunteers are encouraged to bring their favorite work gloves and a refillable water bottle.

Parking: Meet at the north end of Surfers' Point, in the parking lot past the end of Shoreline Dr. Look for the blue Surfrider tent.

All participants and parents/guardians must sign a waiver, available HERE. Waivers will also be available at the project site.  Volunteers under age 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

Group Sign Up: On the online registration form under "Group Member Information" you may indicate how many from your group will attend.
