Dr. Petry will help us discover what has prevented us from becoming our whole self, & share a new empowering way of being.

This Summer the Institute for Spiritual Development and the Darling Hill Farm Retreat House are co-sponsoring a ‘Metaphysical Summer School’ Continuing Education Program.

The Summer Spirit Lecture Series: "Exploring Spiritual Communication from Many Traditions and Cultures". 

Wednesday Evenings from 6:30 to 8:30 pm held at The Lotus CenterJune 20, 27, July 11, 18,25, August 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 

The ‘Summer Spirit Lecture Series’ , 10 experiential, in depth metaphysical presentations, held throughout the summer, is the heart of the Program. ISD is show casing local speakers from a variety of spiritual organizations and traditions in Otsego County to network, socialize, and most importantly learn from one another. 

The entire ‘Metaphysical Summer School’ program also includes:                   Weekly Classes, and Message Circles, and Saturday Workshops & Soulful Dinner Events with live music and bonfires.

These Summer School Classes and workshops will give a taste of and solid preparation for the Spiritual Intuitive Certification Course offerings at The ISD Lotus Center in the coming Fall & Winter, which begins on Sept. 14th (See ISD Website for Details)

 Ready to shed your victim consciousness and all the limiting thought/behavior patterns that go with it?! 

 In this interactive and experiential workshop you will learn about The Drama Triangle, a construct developed by Stephen Karp in the 1960’s that describes a dynamic comprised of a Victim, Perpetrator and Rescuer. Through reflection and short writings, you will discover how the Drama Triangle lives within you and how it prevents you from being your full self. In a shamanic journey (a form of guided meditation) into Mother Earth, you will have the opportunity to shed the energy associated with the original wounding. The Empowerment Dynamic, a healthy alternative, is discussed.  

 About Your Instructor:

  Dr. Paula Petry is a shamanic energy medicine practitioner, trained through the Four Winds Society. Her life’s work has been in supporting others on their journey to a fully empowered wholesome self. In 1986, she founded a non-profit to help other parents of children with a disability and spent many years on the faculty at the University of Miami’s medical school.
