In 1999, the Mondavi family purchased the Animo vineyard in Atlas Peak, marking the first chapter of the Michael Mondavi Family Estate. They pride themselves on creating a family-owned, heritage-driven portfolio of small production, artisanal wines. While Cabernet Sauvignon is at their core, Mondavi takes a thoughtful approach on crafting wines from several varietals including Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay. All vineyards are farmed sustainably and their estate vineyards are certified Napa Green. Our guest host, Cara Bertone of Mondavi Family Estate, will walk us through more history of the vinyard as well as tasting notes on each wine, and more!
