Results
Saturday morning, 102 club delegates and 84 delegates-at-large
represented 65 clubs in our House of Delegates.
Overall, 222 Kiwanians and 43 guests registered for the convention,
in 82 clubs and 20 divisions.
Wondering what the difference is?
Delegates-at-large do not represent their clubs in the House of Delegates.
They only represent themselves.
Greg McDonald of Southport Oak Island was elected Governor.
Jon Hethcox of Columbia was elected Governor-Elect.
On Sunday, the District Board ratified the appointment
of Leah Moretz as District Secretary and Elizabeth Tezza as District Treasurer.
Caucuses
Friday evening of our convention, we held Divisional and Regional Caucuses to elect our incoming officers. Those listed below highlighted in yellow did NOT have a quorum. If you know anyone else that would like to run for a position for those highlighted in yello, (or for an area that is vacant) please contact the district office no later than Wednesday September 5, 2018 at 5:00 pm in order to see what the responsibilities are and if you qualify. Otherwise, these elections will be approved by the District Board of Trustees.
