Who:

Trunnell's Farm Market

What:

The farmers at Trunnell's Farm Market planted a Huge Field of beautiful Sunflowers. In one section, it’s planted full of the classic yellow sunflowers that will mature at about 5 feet tall.

In another section, visitors get to see many different varieties planted in display gardens to show of each individual variety.

In “Land of the Giants,” towering sunflowers form adorable child-size structures. The sunflower structures are ALIVE in a sea of dwarf “Teddy Bear”sunflowers, which grow just 2-3 feet tall.

In “The Wilds” guests may pick their included sunflower, or pick their pre-purchased 6, 12, or 18 Sunflowers from a mixture of 22 different varieties! All different sizes and colors displayed in ornamental sunflowers.

Relax, get a bite to eat, enjoy friends, take awesome pictures all right in the middle of the Sunflower Fields!

“We followed the recommendations and planted at the right times,” says Kevin Trunnell, Co-Owner of Trunnell's Farm Market “It’s agriculture. Our guests will have to be forgiving if the sunflowers don’t all cooperate, but when it happens, it will be a Beautiful Show.”

Why:

“Sunflowers are symbols of positive thoughts, feelings and create a happy atmosphere,” says Julie Trunnell, Co-Owner of Trunnell's. “They connect with people, and we want people to connect with farming on a personal level.”
