Secrets of Cataloging: Webinar (08/02/18)

Explore the relationship between MARC and the OPAC - how do MARC fields and indicators impact display and indexing? In this session, we will explore MARC fields and their impact on the OPAC. We will discuss new(er) MARC fields developed for RDA, as well as MARCfields that are no longer used. This session will not only help you understand the relationship between MARC and the OPAC, but may also make you a better searcher! Resources and exercises for post-class work will be provided. 

Audience: Catalogers, Technical Services, Systems, as well as any library staff who work with the OPAC.
