Meet The Shepherd--Cestari Sheep & Wool--June 19 5:30pm 

Join us in welcoming Francis Chester, the charismatic shepherd behind Cestari Sheep & Wool, to Cowgirl Yarn. Francis is well known in the yarn world for his enthusiasm for sustainable practices in the fiber industry and for his passion for his own exceptional product. 

"Cestari Sheep and Wool Company is a small family-owned and operated American manufacturer of knitting and crocheting yarn.   We have a farm in Augusta County, Virginia where we raise sheep for wool that we use in our yarn.  We also source wool from reputable ranchers throughout the United States.  All of our sheep and wool products are always grown and processed in the United States.  Our cotton products are grown and processed exclusively in Virginia."

Francis will give us all more information about his family farm and how he began farming fiber. He will also be bringing more information and samples of his products with him for us to admire! We will be accepting orders for any of his yarns if you see any you need to have!
